Stay the night at John Tanner State Park, and enjoy a round of golf at Bowdon Golf Course. A beautiful lake like Lake Frank in the neighborhood of West Lake is a great place to take a look at, and a perfect nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Tallapoosa. Just can't get enough of West Lake. Lovvorn Creek flows through this neighborhood; lakes are such peaceful places,       why not explore Wessinger Lake. Throughout the days of summer, highs typically are in the 80's at West Lake. When the night sets in temperatures plunge down into the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's while the cold winter nights at West Lake are in the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at West Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Yogi Bear's Jellystone Camp-Resort is a great location for that, and after                  a long day outdoors Hampton Inn is a tremendous site to spend a night or two.
