Weems Pond is a wet spot that gets a large amount of rain; during the month of March you get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is October. And if that's not enough, there's a load more to do near Weems Pond. On a beautiful day you get a vista of Ryans Hill from Weems Pond. In case you don’t mind getting soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chattahoochee River;       there are plenty of folks from Columbus here at Weems Pond. The scenery at Weems Pond Dam near Weems Pond is striking; if you came for an overnight stay Florence Marina State Park is a pleasant place to camp.
