There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Chattahoochee River; Weems Pond is not far at all from Columbus. Lakes are splendid;       Hards Pond is a lake that's in the neighborhood of Weems Pond, and you can stay the night at Anthony's Mobile Park. Man, is there heaps of amusing things to do right next door to Weems Pond. Near Weems Pond you stumble on a golf course called Red Oak Golf Club, and Weems Pond Dam is lovely. The top of Ryans Hill is easily seen from Weems Pond; a glorious close by hotel is Econo Lodge At Ft. Benning. Throughout the months of summer at Weems Pond highs are                  frequently in the 90's while overnight lows are mostly in the 70's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Weems Pond.
