Many people like to go to Webb Lake. Apalachee River has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by, and you can go for a hike on the Scull Shoals Trail. This lake is so wonderful. The Ritz-Carlton Lodge At Reynolds Plantation is a great spot to get some rest, and going for a hike on the Town Creek Bike Trail is always a magnificent adventure. Webb Lake is a wet place that gets much rainfall; throughout March this area sees the most rain; October is the month with the least moisture. At Webb Lake through the summer months highs are in the 80's. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures sink down into the 60's. Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rose Creek, and camping at North Shore Resort is always a good experience.
This lake is so wonderful. A fine place to camp here at Webb Lake is Wesleyan Campground, and Cemetery Hill is lovely and can be seen from here. If you need a location to stay Jameson Inn Greensboro is a glorious choice; an exciting thing to stop at near Webb Lake is Webb Lake Dam.
