Country Hearth Inn Toccoa is a pleasant location to get some rest; camping is available at Toccoa Rv Park & Campground. What a place this is for outdoors people. There's perfect hiking along the Chattooga Trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Hazel Creek RV Park is a glorious spot to camp.       This lake is so wonderful. Get wet paddling on Nancy Town River; North Fork Broad River Structure Eight Dam is a beautiful place, undeniably worth visiting. All the water falling down from the sky makes Watkins Pond a wet spot; March is the month that gets the most rain while October is generally the driest month. After a long day outdoors Days Inn Toccoa is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and paddling on Big Panther Creek is so much fun. Hiking                  is a popular thing to do around Watkins Pond; Bartram Trail is a great local trail, and during your tour here you'll meet some people from Toccoa for sure. Currahee Mountain can be distinguished from Watkins Pond. Throughout the warmest time of the year, highs regularly are in the 80's at Watkins Pond while nighttime lows are typically in the 60's. Through the winter this place gets highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Watkins Pond. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Watkins Pond you can play some golf at Toccoa City Golf Course.
