All the water falling down from the sky makes Water Bay a wet place; the month with most of the rain is August, and the driest month of the year is October. Camping is available at Lazy Acres Mobile Park and RV, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Bradbury Inn & Suites is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. If you're going to Water Bay from Waycross, you won't be the only one; after       a long day outdoors Bel Air Motel is a delightful spot to spend a night or two. What a location this is for outdoors people. The Indian Trail is a glorious hiking trail near Water Bay, and why not take a little visit to Botherment Branch while you're here. At Water Bay all through the summertime months highs are in the 90's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 60's, and after the                  sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Water Bay plunge into the 30's.
