For the duration of the days of summer here at Wampum Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are regularly in the 50's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Wampum Lake. This lake is so wonderful. A perfect close by hotel is Fairfield Plantation Resort, and camping is available       at Papillon Resort and RV Campground. The scenery at Wampum Lake Dam near Wampum Lake is wonderful, and St Andrews Golf & Country Club is a great golf course nearby. This location rocks, just explore all the cool things to do in the vicinity of Wampum Lake. There's whitewater on Snake River for all you adrenaline junkies, and why not camp at South Oaks Manufactured Home if you're here at Wampum Lake. After a long day outdoors SUPER 8 MOTEL - NEWNAN is                  a pleasant place to spend a night or two; needless to say Snake Creek is a gorgeous stream that is worth going to. The high level of rainfall makes Wampum Lake a pretty wet spot; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and October meanwhile is the driest month.
