Sure, Briscoe Lake is near Walker Lake, and why not take a refreshing hike along the Allison Lake Wildlife Trail. This lake is so wonderful. After a long day outdoors Macon Days Inn is a good spot to spend a night or two, and lots of folks from Macon come here. Little River Park is a good campground here, and a golf course close by is Jones County Lake Jonesco Golf Course. All the water falling       down from the sky makes Walker Lake a wet location; through the month of March you get the most rain around here, and October is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Summertime at Walker Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 50's; winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Walker Lake. Yeah, come here to Walker Lake for a delightful                  time. Don't miss out on a visit to Ocmulgee National Monument since you're here at Walker Lake, also Walker Dam is worth visiting if you're here. Gray Days Inn is a great place to get some rest, and camping at Walker Lake is tremendous fun, Church Campground is a tremendous local campground.
