Walker Lake is a nice lake to visit. If you come at the right time of year, Sweetwater Creek offers some tremendous whitewater. Sandy Creek flows through this area, and Walker Lake is tremendous enough to spend more than a day at, Pirkle Campground is a tremendous local campground. At Walker Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Walker

If you fancy the outdoors, you'll go for Walker Lake. Glide down the rapids of Line Creek in a kayak, and if you're interested in hydro structures, you can pop by Walker Dam.
