If you need a place to stay Budget Inn is a magnificent choice, and a pleasant place to camp here at Walden Lake is Rocky Comfort Plantation Campground. During the months of summer highs here at Walden Lake get into the 90's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Walden Lake are in       the 30's. Camping is available at Big Hart Campground. Why not check out Walden Lake Dam if you're here, and get dripping wet paddling on Ogeechee River. Walden Lake gets lots of water; most of the rain falls through March, and the driest month is October.
