This lake is so wonderful. Vaughter Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; through March this area sees the most rain, and September on the other hand is the driest. Carters Creek is a stunning stream that is worth checking out, and if you're a golfer then a fine nearby course       is Arrowhead Pointe Golf Course. There's so much to do here at Vaughter Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Richard B. Russell State Park is a glorious site for that; dry warm beds await you at Econo Lodge Elberton. This lake is so wonderful. Vaughter Lake is nice enough to spend more than a day at, Pine-der-rosa Cabins and RV Rntl is a nice local campground, and Vaughter Lake is not far at all from Anderson. The warmest time of the year brings highs                  in the 90's to Vaughter Lake; the night is somewhat colder of course, commonly in the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Vaughter Lake dip into the 20's. A lake close by is McLaughlin Lake, and after a long day outdoors Days Inn Elberton is a perfect location to spend a night or two. If you want a perfect time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Vaughter Lake.
