This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Vaught Lake, you could also have a look at beautiful Young Lake, and the Skyuka Trail offers hiking at its best. Be careful coming to Vaught Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at The Chimney's Campground, and why not take a refreshing hike along the River Mont       Cave Historical Trail. Visit Bullard Branch since you're here at Vaught Lake, and if you need a location to stay Days Inn Trenton is a good choice. Playing golf is lots of fun at Big Sandy Golf Club, and Brown Gap is nearby, and is a wonderful site. You can run the rapids of Cole City Creek in the vicinity of Vaught Lake; Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites KIMBALL is a magnificent site to get some rest. All through the summertime months at Vaught Lake                  temperatures are frequently in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's; winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Vaught Lake. The high level of rain makes Vaught Lake a pretty wet place; during the month of March you get the most rain around here while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. A glorious place for whitewater paddling in the neighborhood of Vaught Lake is Lively Creek, and Russell Cave National Monument is a very perfect site to stop at. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Vaught Lake.
