Van Orsdal Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. This lake is so wonderful. Van Orsdal Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Skeenah Mill Campground is a good local campground, and the Black Mountain Trail is a great hiking trail nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Comfort Inn & Suites is a splendid site to get some rest. Through the warm months here at Van Orsdal Lake, high temperatures mostly get into the 80's while nighttime lows
are frequently in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Van Orsdal Lake are in the 20's. If the weather is splendid here at Van Orsdal Lake, you can go for a hike along the Duncan
Ridge Trail. There's so much to do here at Van Orsdal Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Toccoa Valley Campgrounds is a good location for that.
