Valley Lakes is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. That right there is heaps already, but it goes on; Valley Lakes has it all. Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites ATLANTA SOUTHWEST-FAIRBURN is a nice spot to get some rest, and you'll probably meet some folks from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta here. Valley Lakes is a great place to camp, Arrowhead Campground is a great place, and for you golfers we recommend close by Wolf Creek Golf Course. A

This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always visit nearby Arnolds Lake; Sweetwater Creek has a splendid whitewater paddling spot close by. Camp Truitt-fulton is a tremendous campground here; Dixie Lake Dam Number One is a beautiful place, certainly worth a visit. A tour to Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is worthwhile, and whitewater paddling is nice on Annewakee | |

Throughout the warm days of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Valley Lakes. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are commonly in the 40's with temperatures
at Valley Lakes dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights. Valley Lakes is a rather wet place usually with a good deal of precipitation; the month with most of the rain is March, and October meanwhile is the driest month.
