Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Ussery Lake while night lows are frequently in the 60's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 50's with temperatures at Ussery Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. You truly have to have a thing about Ussery Lake. Dry warm beds await       you at Days Inn Gray; most likely you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Rowland Lake is just a very short distance away. During your journey to Ussery Lake you'll meet some people from Macon for sure, and obviously, all our national parks are nice spots to stop by and Ocmulgee National Monument is no exception. You're probably interested in lakes, Hulett Lake is one of those close by; if you're a golfer then a pleasant close by course is Jones County Lake                  Jonesco Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Days Inn Macon East is a great choice, and camping is available at Little River Park. All the water falling down from the sky makes Ussery Lake a wet spot; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain while October is mostly the driest month. Camping at Lake Juliette Dames Ferry Park is always a delightful experience, and if you come at the right time of year, Little River offers some delightful whitewater. This lake is so wonderful.
