of the months is September. The Scull Shoals Trail is a glorious hiking trail right next door to Upper Elders Lake, and in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Rose Creek.
Throughout the summertime months at Upper Elders Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's; the nighttime is a little chillier of course, generally in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 50's, and winter
nights come with lows in the 30's to Upper Elders Lake. This lake is so wonderful. On a splendid day at Upper Elders Lake you can take a hike along the Mounds Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Upper Elders Lake
