Sure, Dashers Lake is in the vicinity, and there's whitewater on Turket Creek for all you adrenaline people. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Ulmers Pond. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. All through the wintertime highs are typically in the 60's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Ulmers Pond. This lake is so wonderful. After       a long day outdoors Guesthouse Valdosta is a great location to spend a night or two; if you're popping by from Valdosta, you won't be the only one.
