So much enjoyable stuff to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains, too nice to be true. Near Twin Lakes East you hit upon the Appalachian National Scenic Trail which is a fine hiking trail; Innsbruck Resort & Golf Club is a golf course nearby. People from Gainesville love to come to Twin Lakes East. If you want a tremendous time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Twin Lakes       East. Twin Lakes is a nearby lake that you could visit, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Whitly Gap Trail. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Twin Lakes East that you need to camp here for a while, Brookside Camp Ground is a good location for that, and let's not forget Glade Branch which is a stream that you may stumble upon while here. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Twin Lakes East has to offer,                  you can camp at Jenny's Creek Campground, and a tremendous location for whitewater paddling is Chestatee River. Dry warm beds await you at Ramada Limited, and do take a look at Lewis Lake, it's a stunning lake. Twin Lakes East is located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. There is a glorious hiking trail next to Twin Lakes East called the Raven Cliff Falls Trail, and Cleveland Days Inn is a great site to get some rest. All year is a great time in the Blue Ridge Mountains if you go for the outdoors. Tesnatee Creek is a perfect whitewater spot close to Twin Lakes East, and not far from Twin Lakes East you get some delightful water scenery at Twin Lakes East Dam. For the period of the warm months highs here at Twin Lakes East get into the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Twin Lakes East dipping down into the 20's all through winter nights.
