Twin Lakes East is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. For the period of the months of summer, highs generally are in the 80's at Twin Lakes East with overnight lows in the 60's. Highs through the winter are commonly in the 40's, and night lows through the winter for Twin Lakes East tend to be in the 20's. Man, is there lots of amusing stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. In case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Tesnatee Creek, and Twin Lakes East is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Brookside Camp Ground is a wonderful local campground.

golf can be played at Innsbruck Resort & Golf Club.
