During the warm months at Twin Lakes highs are generally in the 80's. Through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 60's. During the wintertime highs are typically in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Twin Lakes are in the 20's. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Tesnatee Creek, and there's some out of the ordinary stuff to catch       a sight of at Twin Lakes East Dam close to Twin Lakes. This lake is so wonderful. Country Inn And Suites By Carlson Helan is a brilliant spot to get some rest, and golf can be played at Innsbruck Resort & Golf Club. There are other sites here than Twin Lakes, for example Twin Lakes East. If you need a location to stay Cleveland Days Inn is a tremendous choice. Lakes? Sure, Lewis Lake is around here. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Twin                  Lakes. There are some brilliant whitewater spots on Chestatee River; if you're here you will meet lots of people from close by Gainesville. Man, is there plenty of exciting stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Camping is available at Jenny's Creek Campground, and since you're here you can take a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. A large amount of rainfall falls at Twin Lakes; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain while October is generally the driest month. This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this region, and obviously Glade Branch flows through this neighborhood. You truly must have a thing about the Blue Ridge Mountains.
