A visit to Twin Lakes is always a good idea. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Whitly Gap Trail; if you need a spot to stay Country Inn And Suites By Carlson Helan is a wonderful choice. These mountains rock, just explore all the enjoyable stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Good hiking is available along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail, and a round of golf at nearby Innsbruck Resort & Golf Club is a nice way to kill some time. If you want

| | a good time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Blue Ridge Mountains. If you get bored of Twin Lakes, you could also pop by nearby Lake Qualatchee, and Brookside Camp Ground is a good campground nearby.
This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Tesnatee Creek, and don't leave Twin Lakes without first going for a hike along the Raven Cliff Falls Trail. If you come at the right time of | |

year, Chestatee River offers some nice whitewater, and after a long day outdoors Cleveland Days Inn is a glorious location to spend a night or two. You don’t have to go far from Twin Lakes to observe the water at Twin Lakes East Dam,
and if you came for an overnight stay Jenny's Creek Campground is a good spot to camp.
This lake is one of the great places here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. So many enjoyable things to do at Twin Lakes, so little time. Twin Lakes
is not the only spot nearby, Black Lake is a nearby lake, and while you're here, you could go to Glade Branch. Twin Lakes sees pretty high levels of rain; of all the months in a year March is the one with the most rain, and October
on the other hand is the driest.
Lots of folks from Gainesville come to Twin Lakes. High temperatures at Twin Lakes throughout the long summer days are in the 80's. Throughout the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. High
temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Twin Lakes.
