Any time is a splendid time at Twin Lakes if you go for the outdoors. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Big Panther Creek, and do take a hike on the Chattooga Trail. Twin Lakes ordinarily gets much precipitation; March is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest of the months is October. This lake is so wonderful. For the duration of the days of summer, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Twin Lakes. For       the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 50's, and night lows in the 20's for Twin Lakes. After a long day outdoors Toccoa Days Inn is a good place to spend a night or two, and a quick journey to Bear Creek is absolutely a splendid idea. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay Knights Inn Toccoa is a tremendous choice; a round of golf at nearby Toccoa City Golf Course                  is a fine way to kill some time. There's so much to do here at Twin Lakes that you need to camp here for a while, Toccoa Rv Park & Campground is a brilliant spot for that, and you're almost certainly keen on lakes, Ayers Pond is one of those nearby. Float down the rapids of Brasstown Creek in a kayak; Twin Lakes is not far at all from Toccoa. Twin Lakes is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Sunset Campground is a wonderful local campground; possibly you're looking for nearby lakes?
