Go to Twin Lakes if you want to go to a nice lake. If you adore the outdoors, you'll love Twin Lakes. Camping at Holiday Campground is always a wonderful experience, and if you need a location to stay Guesthouse Intl Lake Park is a good choice. Throughout the summertime months, highs ordinarily are in the 90's at Twin Lakes while nighttime lows are generally in the 60's. | | at Twin Lakes temperatures fall to the 30's. Twin Lakes commonly gets a good deal of rainfall; during July this area sees the most rain, and October is when it's the driest. Quality Inn Lake Park is a great place to get some rest, and there are other places here than Twin Lakes, for example Grassy Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There are some great whitewater spots on Turket Creek; not far from Twin Lakes you'll locate Ocean Pond which is a gorgeous lake. | |

Get yourself into a kayak and hit Alapahoochee River Grand Bay Canal), and why not check out Lake Hammock Dam East since you're here. During your visit to Twin Lakes you'll meet some people from Valdosta for sure, and Twin Lakes is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Eagles Roost Campground is a fine local campground.
