Twin Lakes Number 2 is close at hand, and Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is a tremendous national park. If you come at the right time of year, Annewakee River offers some good whitewater, and swing by Line Creek it's a great place to pop by. Twin Lakes regularly gets a great deal of precipitation; the month of March is the wettest with most of       the rain, and October is the month with the least moisture. Dry warm beds await you at Hampton Inn Atlanta-Fairburn, GA, and if you came for an overnight stay Sweetwater Creek State Park is a brilliant place to camp. You can take a little trip to Twin Lakes Dam Number Two since you're here at Twin Lakes; while you're here and you like golf, you can visit Wolf Creek Golf Course. This lake is so wonderful.
