This location is unbeatable, just check out all the amusing stuff to do in the vicinity of Twin Lakes. Why not camp at Lumpkin Campground while you're here at Twin Lakes, and do take a hike on the Brookshire Creek Trail. A magnificent close by hotel is Sun Suites Of Cumming. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Twin Lakes, and the nighttime is a little colder of course, typically in the 60's. The winter brings       highs down to the 40's, and night lows during the wintertime for Twin Lakes tend to be in the 20's. If you desire a little side tour, try Bettes Gap, and you can run the rapids of Amicalola Creek. Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is a very delightful place to stop by close to Twin Lakes, and Sun Suites of Cumming is a tremendous place to get some rest. Twin Lakes regularly gets much precipitation; most of the rain falls during March, and October                  is when it's the driest. There are other places here than Twin Lakes, for example Reservoir 15, and get your heart pumping on the fine whitewater of Settingdown Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
