    If you are in this part of Georgia make sure to pay a visit to Twin Lakes. Upper Twin Lake is a splendid lake in the neighborhood of Twin Lakes, and if you came for an overnight stay Pirkle Campground is a perfect place to camp. The high level of rainfall makes Twin Lakes a reasonably wet spot; the wettest month of the year is regularly March, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is September.
High temperatures at Twin Lakes during the
 
   warmest time of the year are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 60's. For the duration of the wintertime the highs are typically in the 50's with temperatures at Twin Lakes dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights. South Oaks Manufactured Home is a good campground nearby, and lakes are such serene sites, why not stop at Evans Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Some nearby water includes Dead Oak Creek, and people from Thomaston love to  
               come here.
