Turnipseed Lake gets lots of water; through the month of March you get the most rain around here, and October on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. If       you need a place to stay Days Inn Douglasville-Atlanta-Fairburn Road is a fine choice; Crooked Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to. All through the warm months at Turnipseed Lake temperatures are usually in the 80's. During the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down into the 60's. For the period of the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's while Turnipseed Lake nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in                  the 20's.
