At Turner Lake throughout the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 60's. Through the winter the highs are commonly in the 50's, and night lows all through the winter for Turner Lake tend to be in the 30's. If you came for an overnight stay Heart of Georgia RV Park is a pleasant spot to camp, and get soaked paddling on Little Towaliga River.       You're perhaps keen on lakes, Fincher Lake is one of those close by, and during your tour here you'll meet some people from Thomaston for sure. A wonderful nearby hotel is Lamar Inn and Suites; Tabernacle Campground is a pleasant local campground. Turner Lake is a wet place that gets lots of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is usually March, that's the one that rains the most; the driest month of the year is October. Very glorious water scenery is available at Turner Dam in close proximity to Turner Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Potato Creek. This lake is so wonderful.
