Turn Hole sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is mostly March, that's the one that rains the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. At Turn Hole you always meet someone from Seneca; Camp Chatuga is a wonderful local campground. Yep, outdoors enjoyable things truly is plentiful here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. While you're       here at Turn Hole you can take a hike along the Chattooga Trail; you can never get enough of the glorious skiing at Sky Valley. You could also stop at Mountain Rest Lake since you're here at Turn Hole; it's nearby, and if the weather is brilliant, you can go for a hike along the Three Forks Trail. A short spree to Big Shoals is always worthwhile, and whitewater paddling is delightful on Chattooga River - West Fork. This lake is so wonderful. Turn Hole                  is a nice place to visit for more than one day, Cassidy Bridge Campground is a nice place to camp nearby, and since you're here, you might as well explore Big Shoals. So much fun stuff to do at Turn Hole, so little time. Skiing at Scaly Mountain is one of those things you just should do, and Holden Mountain is clearly visible from Turn Hole. This site is peerless, just check out all the fun stuff to do close to Turn Hole. If you need a place to stay The Inn at Half Mile Farm is a nice choice, and a lake nearby is Turn Hole. These mountains rock, just check out all the exciting stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains. All through the days of summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Turn Hole. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Turn Hole. This lake is so wonderful. Have a great hiking adventure along the Burrells Ford Trail; some close by water includes Adline Branch. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge Mountains. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors just come on up to the Blue Ridge Mountains.
