Dry warm beds await you at Hampton Inn Highlands NC; Turn Hole is a good place to visit for more than one day, Camp Chatuga is a good place to camp nearby. Put some time aside to spend at Big Shoals while you're here at Turn Hole, and everybody nearby loves skiing at Sky Valley. Just can't get enough of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Turn Hole; Burrells Ford Trail is a good local trail; if you come at the right time of year,

| | Chattooga River offers some fine whitewater. Turn Hole is a nearby lake that you could explore, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Chattooga River - West Fork. Turn Hole is a reasonably wet place frequently with a great deal of rain; March is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month is July. Now, you may imagine that's heaps but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here in the Blue Ridge Mountains. | |

This place rocks, just check out all the exciting stuff to do near Turn Hole. Don't forget to take a wonderful little spree to Adline Branch; close by Big Shoals is a nice site to go. This lake is located in the wonderful Blue Ridge
Mountains. This lake is so wonderful. Turn Hole is right by the Three Forks Trail; you can stay the night at Cassidy Bridge Campground. And if that's not sufficient there's heaps more amusing stuff to do in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Scaly Mountain is a perfect local ski area, and at Turn Hole you can distinguish Holden Mountain. So many enjoyable things to do at Turn Hole, so little time. After a long day outdoors Old Edwards Inn and Spa is a delightful spot
to spend a night or two; a lake close by is Mountain Rest Lake. At Turn Hole through the summertime months highs are in the 80's, and the nighttime is a bit colder of course, regularly in the 50's. For the period of the winter the
highs are usually in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Turn Hole. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Chattooga Trail, and you'll in all probability meet some folks from Seneca here.
