After a long day outdoors La Quinta Inn and Suites Snellville/Stone Mountain is a glorious place to spend a night or two; lots of folks from Gainesville come here. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Lawrenceville Campground is always a nice experience; Lake Carlton Dam is not far at all from Tuggle Lake. Summertime highs at Tuggle Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's with nighttime lows in the 60's. Highs throughout the wintertime are frequently in the

| | 40's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Tuggle Lake. Tuggle Lake usually gets a lot of precipitation; March is the month that gets the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. You just can't imagine the amount of outdoors exciting stuff the area in the neighborhood of Tuggle Lake has to offer. LAWRENCEVILLE is a brilliant place to get some rest. A splendid location for whitewater paddling right next door to Tuggle Lake is Yellow River, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Brooks Lake. Camping is available at Campwest Minster, and a golf course nearby is Cedar Lake Golf Course.
