Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at nearby Fishing Lake, and whitewater paddling is wonderful on Wolf Creek. Not far from Treasure Lake, you'll hit upon Willis Lake which is a beautiful lake, and since you're here and you like golf, you can take a look at St Andrews Golf & Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Fairfield       Plantation Resort; obviously Ayer Creek flows through this area. Treasure Lake frequently gets a great deal of rain; most of the rain falls during March, and the driest of the months is October. Man, is there a load of fun things to do in close proximity to Treasure Lake. Get drenched paddling on Mobley Creek. There's so much to do here at Treasure Lake that you need to camp here for a while, John Tanner State Park is a nice spot for that. During the long                  summer days at Treasure Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are commonly in the 50's while Treasure Lake nighttime low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 20's.
