Treadwell Lake is a lake worth visiting. Treadwell Lake sees pretty high levels of rainfall; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and September is the month with the least moisture. South River is a glorious whitewater spot near Treadwell Lake, and since you're here, you might as well have a look at Island Shoals. This lake is so wonderful.

Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is one of the destinations near Treadwell Lake that are pleasant to go to, and you can stay the night at Sardis Campground.

for Treadwell Lake tend to be in the 30's. Looking for some flowing water? Try Cook Branch, and dry warm beds await you at Days Inn At Jackson. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Treadwell Lake that you need
to camp here for a while, Mount Bethel Campground is a good place for that, and on a good day you can take a hike along the Kinnard Horse Trail.
