Many people like to go to Toms Pond. Why not camp at Holiday Campground while you're here at Toms Pond, and Lake Park Inn is a splendid spot to get some rest. Camping at Toms Pond is glorious fun, Eagles Roost Campground is a glorious local campground; you can run the rapids of Alapahoochee River Grand Bay Canal). While you're here at Toms Pond you will meet lots of folks from close by Valdosta, and a good place for whitewater paddling is Turket Creek. Summertime

Daytime highs during the winter are in the 60's; through the dark hours in the winter at Toms Pond temperatures fall to the 30's. And that's not all you can do here at Toms Pond. Toms Pond usually gets a large amount of rainfall; July is when you get the most rain here while October is ordinarily the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. | |
