Why not camp at Holiday Campground while you're here at Toms Pond, and Lake Park Inn is a splendid spot to get some rest. Camping at Toms Pond is glorious fun, Eagles Roost Campground is a glorious local campground; you can run the rapids of Alapahoochee River Grand Bay Canal). While you're here at Toms Pond you will meet lots of folks from close by Valdosta, and a good place for whitewater paddling is Turket Creek. Summertime       at Toms Pond comes with high temperatures in the 90's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 60's. Daytime highs during the winter are in the 60's; through the dark hours in the winter at Toms Pond temperatures fall to the 30's. And that's not all you can do here at Toms Pond. Toms Pond usually gets a large amount of rainfall; July is when you get the most rain here while October is ordinarily the driest month.
