If you come at the right time of year, Rose Creek offers some great whitewater, and Tommie Tillman Number Two Dam has great water scenery. If you came for an overnight stay Oconee River Campground and Picnic Area is a fine place to camp; Best Western Colonial Inn is a perfect place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Tommie Tillman Lake without first going for a hike along the Falling Camp       Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by J S Ivy Lake. For the duration of the months of summer at Tommie Tillman Lake highs are usually in the 80's, and through the night it cools down to the 60's. Highs through the winter are regularly in the 50's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Tommie Tillman Lake. There's nice hiking along the Scull Shoals Trail. There's just no way anybody can get bored here                  at Tommie Tillman Lake. There are plenty of people from Athens-Clarke County here at Tommie Tillman Lake. Lakes?
