Rices Spring is an inspiring location to go to during your stay. So much fun stuff to do at Lake Tom, so little time. Not far from Lake Tom you get some perfect water scenery at Lake Conasauga Dam, and Lake Tom is a great site to camp, Morrison Campground is a great site. This lake is so wonderful. An afternoon playing golf at Horseleg Creek Country Club is always a delight, and float down the       rapids of Johnnies Creek in a kayak. Here at Lake Tom you'll in all probability meet some people from Rome, and you're probably interested in lakes, Camps Lake is one of those close by. Comfort Inn Rome is a pleasant site to get some rest, and camping at Lake Tom is brilliant fun, Rome-floyd County Recreation is a brilliant local campground. Summertime highs at Lake Tom typically tend to be in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 60's. The                  cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and night lows at Lake Tom through the winter mostly sink into the 20's. Lake Tom is a wet spot that gets a large amount of precipitation; March is when you get the most rain here, and October meanwhile is the driest month.
