Sure, Lake Julianne is just a very short distance away. Any time is a nice time at Lake Tom if you have a thing about the outdoors. There's so much to do here at Lake Tom that you need to camp here for a while, Rome-floyd County Recreation is a tremendous location for that, and if you need a location to stay Howard Johnson Express Inn Rome is a magnificent       choice. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Rome, and there's whitewater on Johnnies Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. Through the summer months at Lake Tom highs are commonly in the 80's. Once the sun is down it falls down to the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's, and overnight lows at Lake Tom through the wintertime commonly descend into the 20's. Lake Conasauga Dam is an attention-grabbing thing                  to check out, and as expected, this is a tremendous vicinity for people who like lakes, Lake Conasaugh Dam is a lake in the neighborhood. A short tour to Rices Spring is always worthwhile, and golf can be played at Horseleg Creek Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of people from Rome come to Lake Tom, and Lake Tom is glorious enough to spend more than a day at, Cedar Creek Park is a glorious local campground.
