Hiking along the Mountaintown Creek Trail is tremendous fun, and paddling on Talking Rock Creek is so much fun. Why not camp at Plum Nelly Campground if you're here at Timber Lake; why not take a refreshing hike along the Bear Creek Trail. Some of the water nearby flows, like Crump Creek, and Talona Creek Campground is a great local campground. Take a hike on the Emery Creek Trail, and whitewater paddling is       good on Coosawattee River. During the summertime at Timber Lake temperatures are regularly in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's, and night lows at Timber Lake all through the wintertime frequently descend into the 20's. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Timber Lake. On a delightful day you acquire a panorama of Doll Mountain from                  Timber Lake, and lakes are such peaceful places, why not stop by Carters Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Timber Lake is a wet place that gets lots of rain; March is the month that gets the most rain while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful.
