    If you are in this part of Georgia make sure to pay a visit to Thomas Pond. Through the days of summer at Thomas Pond highs are ordinarily in the 80's while night lows are regularly in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Thomas Pond all through the wintertime mostly sink into the 20's. This is a splendid vicinity for people who like lakes. Bassinger Pond is a lake in close proximity; going for a hike along the Raven  
   Cliff Falls Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. After a long day outdoors Cornelia-Days Inn is a pleasant location to spend a night or two; why not camp at Serendipity Park Nudist Resort while you're here at Thomas Pond.
Some of the water close by flows, like Yellowbank Creek, and the Whitly Gap Trail is a brilliant hiking trail close by. You absolutely should adore Thomas Pond. If you come at the right time of year, Mud Creek offers
 
               some good whitewater, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail. All the water falling down from the sky makes Thomas Pond a wet spot; the month with most of the rain is March; the driest of the months is October.
This lake is so wonderful. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Ellers Lake, and a delightful nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Cornelia. This lake is so wonderful. Drift down the rapids of Chattahoochee River in a kayak. A good location to camp here at Thomas Pond is Mountain Creek Grove Nudist, and Thomas Pond is not far at all from Cornelia.
