This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Chattahoochee River offers some pleasant whitewater, and why not stop at Thin River Orchard Dam while you're here. And that's not all you can do here at Thin River Orchard Lake. During your tour to       Thin River Orchard Lake you'll meet some people from Cornelia for sure, and a great close by hotel is Days Inn Cornelia. Thin River Orchard Lake is a rather wet place typically with a lot of rain; most of the rain falls throughout March while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. During the days of summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Thin River Orchard Lake. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 60's. The cold days of the                  wintertime come with highs in the 40's, and after the sun is down through the winter temperatures at Thin River Orchard Lake drop into the 20's. This lake is so wonderful. There is a good hiking trail near Thin River Orchard Lake called the Raven Cliff Falls Trail, and camping at Serendipity Park Nudist Resort is always a brilliant experience. Millers Pond is a perfect lake right next door to Thin River Orchard Lake; don't forget to take a fine little journey to Soquee River. Going for a hike on the Whitly Gap Trail is always a good adventure; if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Cornelia is a pleasant choice.
