Tharp Lake is always a pleasure to visit. This lake is so wonderful. If you come at the right time of year, Marsh Creek offers some splendid whitewater; the Brookshire Creek Trail offers hiking at its best. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Big Creek in a kayak, and La Siesta RV Park is a delightful campground here.
Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Tharp Lake while overnight lows are generally in the 60's. For the period of the winter

| | highs are in the 40's; after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Tharp Lake fall into the 20's. After a long day outdoors Executive Suites At Sec Unlmtd is a tremendous site to spend a night or two, and a golf course close by is Bradshaw Farms Golf Course. Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area is one of the destinations close to Tharp Lake that are tremendous to go to, and dry warm beds await you at Best Western Inn.

down from the sky makes Tharp Lake a wet place; March is when you get the most rain here, and October meanwhile is the driest month. You believe that's enough? Just getting warmed up. Camping at Tharp Lake is fine fun, Marietta Campground
is a fine local campground; an attention-grabbing thing to stop at next to Tharp Lake is Tharp Lake Dam. You're sure to stumble upon some good folks from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta here; Bartenfeld Lake is a tremendous lake close by.
