This lake is so wonderful. Ocmulgee National Monument is a brilliant national park, and Comfort Inn Byron is a glorious site to get some rest. Taylors Pond is a wet location that gets much rain; the month of March is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is October. Taylors Pond is not the       only spot nearby, Whipple Lake is a nearby lake; as expected Indian Creek flows through this neighborhood. Any time is a magnificent time at Taylors Pond if you go for the outdoors. The wonderful folks of Fort Valley like to hang out nearby. During the summertime here at Taylors Pond, high temperatures regularly reach the 90's with nighttime lows in the 60's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 50's while Taylors Pond nighttime low                  temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 30's.
