This place rocks, just check out all the amusing stuff to do near Taylors Lake. Taylors Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Atlanta South RV Resort is a good local campground, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Shoal Creek Lake. Through the warm days of summer highs here at Taylors Lake reach the 80's, and the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, regularly in the       60's. During the winter highs are regularly in the 50's while the cold winter nights at Taylors Lake are in the 30's. This lake is so wonderful. At Taylors Lake Dam near Taylors Lake there are some attention-grabbing things to see; there are some magnificent whitewater spots on Towaliga River. Taylors Lake regularly gets a large amount of rainfall; March is the month that gets the most rain; the driest month is September. There's so much to do here at Taylors                  Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pirkle Campground is a glorious spot for that, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Griffin is a good place to spend a night or two.
