That right there is a load already, but it continues; Takila Lake has it all. If you come at the right time of year, Talking Rock Creek offers some brilliant whitewater. For the period of the summertime months at Takila Lake highs are frequently in the 80's while overnight lows are typically in the 60's. Highs during the winter are regularly in the 40's, and throughout the dark hours in the winter at Takila Lake temperatures       sink to the 20's. The high level of rain makes Takila Lake a rather wet place; the month with most of the rain is March while October is typically the driest month. From Takila Lake you obtain a glorious view of Carter Mountain; the scenery at Takila Lake Dam is picturesque.
