Swifts Lake gets a good deal of water; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest month is October. There's so much to do here at Swifts Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Pines Camp Ground is a tremendous place for that, and this is a popular spot for       people from Columbus. Summertime highs at Swifts Lake regularly tend to be in the 90's while overnight lows are generally in the 60's. Through the winter highs are ordinarily in the 50's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Swifts Lake temperatures drop to the 30's.
