You can take a little tour to Sweetwater Lake Dam since you're here at Sweetwater Lake; a good nearby hotel is Courtyard By Marriott Atlanta Six Flags. This lake is so wonderful. People from Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Marietta love to come to Sweetwater Lake. Do pay a visit to Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail while you're here at Sweetwater Lake; Arrowhead Campground is a       brilliant local campground. Some of the water close by flows, like Dry Creek, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Sweetwater Creek. If you go for the outdoors, you'll fancy Sweetwater Lake. There are some great whitewater spots on Annewakee River, and why not camp at Sweetwater Creek State Park since you're here at Sweetwater Lake. Throughout the warmest time of the year at Sweetwater Lake highs are generally in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures                  sink down into the 60's.
