For the period of the long summer days, highs mostly are in the 80's at Swan Lake. Summer overnight lows fall down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs       down to the 40's, and night lows in the 20's for Swan Lake. Swan Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, James H. Floyd State Park is a great local campground; if you need a place to stay Comfort Inn Rome is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Swan Lake you will meet lots of people from nearby Rome, and you're almost certainly into lakes, Berry Reservoir is one of those nearby. Big Cedar Creek has a great whitewater paddling                  spot close by, and O'Bryan Gap is another wonderful place to check out close by. That right there is heaps already, but it keeps on going; Swan Lake has it all. Paddling on Johnnies Creek is so much fun, and if you're here and you like golf, you can have a look at Stonebridge Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful.
