Swan Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Swan Lake is a reasonably wet place generally with much precipitation; the month with most of the rain is March, and October is when it's the driest. If you want a nice time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Swan Lake. Rome-floyd County Recreation is a great campground nearby; possibly you're looking for close by lakes? wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Big Cedar Creek, and Howard Johnson Express Inn is a tremendous place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. This is a great area for folks who like lakes. Boggs Lake is a lake close by, and lots of folks from Rome come here.
