After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Rome is a wonderful place to spend a night or two; a nice place to take a look at close by is O'Bryan Gap. You absolutely have to go for Swan Lake. Big Cedar Creek is a nice whitewater spot close to Swan Lake, and you can stay the night at Rome-floyd County Recreation. In case you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling       on Johnnies Creek; Lavender Mountain is easy to spot from Swan Lake. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Swan Lake has to offer, you can camp at Morrison Campground. Dry warm beds await you at Rome Super 8 Motel, and Stonebridge Golf Club is a fine golf course nearby. Summertime highs at Swan Lake generally tend to be in the 80's, and the overnight is a tad chillier of course, usually in the 60's. Throughout the wintertime highs are regularly                  in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Swan Lake are in the 20's. During your spree to Swan Lake you'll meet some folks from Rome for sure, and you'll come across a pretty lake called Sandy Beach Lake.
