Econo Lodge Inn, & Suites is a tremendous spot to get some rest, and if you're popping by from Albany, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. Sun Pond is not the only spot close by, Duck Roost Pond is a close by lake, and if you need a place to stay Fair Fax Motel is a brilliant choice. Looking for something close to Sun Pond? Cypress Pond is close by. There's so much to do here at Sun Pond that you need to camp here for a while, The Parks at Chehaw

| | Campground is a delightful site for that. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 90's to Sun Pond. All through the moonlight hours it's typically in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 50's; during the dark hours in the winter at Sun Pond temperatures dip to the 30's. If you came to camp Albany RV Resort is a tremendous spot to do that. Sun Pond is a quite wet place typically with a great deal of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is January, and October on the other hand is the driest. | |
