Stuarts Lake is a nice lake to visit. A glorious nearby hotel is Cornerstone Lodge Of Covington, and glide down the rapids of Hard Labor Creek in a kayak. Through the summertime at Stuarts Lake highs are frequently in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are commonly in the 40's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Stuarts Lake descend into the 20's. A lake close by is Stuarrts

Lake Dam close to Stuarts Lake is beautiful, and camping is available at Fort Yargo State Park. This lake is so wonderful. Stuarts Lake is not the only spot nearby, Byrds Lake is a nearby lake; Baker Branch is one of the streams nearby that might be worth taking a look at. Camping at Simmeron Park is always a magnificent experience.
