In Georgia there are many beautiful lakes, Stuarrts Lake is one of them. Stuarrts Lake is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Fort Yargo State Park is a brilliant local campground, and if you're here you can play some golf at Woodlake Golf Club. Whitewater paddling is perfect on Alcovy River, and let's not forget Baker Branch which is a stream that you may encounter during your stay. The high level of rain makes Stuarrts Lake a reasonably wet spot;

This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Simmeron Park is a great site to do that, and after a long day outdoors Country Hearth Inn Monroe is a tremendous place to spend a night or two. Paddling on Hard Labor Creek is so much fun, and dry warm beds await you at Cornerstone Lodge Of Covington. Any time is a perfect time at Stuarrts Lake if you adore the outdoors. Stuarts | |

Beyond the park is unknown territory....Yellow river at Poterdale can get pretty tough after a good rain. Bring your A game!...water from 124 to porterdale is about 3 feet average in the summertime. lots of fun. easy river. clean too. lots of fallen trees in the water, great wildlife, snakes, turtles and fish. the dam in porterdale is easily passed adn the rapids following are verry shallow. email at coadydraven@yahoo.com with questions.... |
