A lot of rain falls at Stringers Lake; March is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month is October. If you need a place to stay Rockmart Day Inn is a delightful choice. Lakes? Sure, Becks Lake is around here. At Stringers Lake all through the days of summer highs are in the 80's. During the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 60's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 50's with temperatures at Stringers       Lake dipping down into the 30's through winter nights. After a long day outdoors Econo Lodge Rockmart is a great location to spend a night or two, and Rome-floyd County Recreation is a nice local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Near Stringers Lake you discover a golf course called Goodyear Golf Course, and the good people of Cedartown like to hang out close by. Big Cedar Creek is a good whitewater spot in close proximity to Stringers Lake. Just can't                  get enough of Stringers Lake. If you came for an overnight stay The Rock Camp Ground is a tremendous location to camp, and a quick spree to Riles Creek is certainly a good idea.
