Strickland Lake sees pretty high levels of precipitation; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and November is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Downtowner Inns Claxton is a brilliant site to get some rest, and Strickland Lake is not the only location nearby, Downds Pond is a nearby lake. This is no place for       people who don’t like to enjoy themselves. Through the warm days of summer here at Strickland Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 90's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 70's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 60's, and nighttime lows at Strickland Lake all through the winter mostly plunge into the 30's. Ennis Branch is one of the streams nearby that might be worth stopping at. You'll need more than a day to discover everything                  Strickland Lake has to offer, you can camp at Daisy Farms RV Park.
