What a nice lake Strickland Lake is. If you get bored of Strickland Lake, you could also stop at nearby North Steward Lake, and if you need a place to stay Hampton Inn Atlanta/Peachtree City is a great choice. There are some good whitewater spots on Annewakee River, and a tremendous place to camp here at Strickland Lake is Camp Truitt-fulton. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center, and if you're looking for

And that's not all you can do here at Strickland Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Line Creek offers some great whitewater, and why not stop by Strickland Lake Dam if you're here. The views at Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail will blow your mind; if you're a golfer then a magnificent nearby course is Pine Ridge National Golf & Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. The high level of rain makes Strickland Lake a quite wet place; the month
with most of the rain is March while October is the month with the least amount of precipitation. At Strickland Lake through the days of summer highs are in the 80's. For the period of the dark hours of summer temperatures dip down
into the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 50's while the cold winter nights at Strickland Lake are in the 30's.
