Do stop by Strickland Lake while you're in this part of Georgia. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Strickland Lake has to offer, you can camp at Camp Truitt-fulton; get covered with water paddling on Line Creek. After a long day outdoors Hampton Inn Atlanta/Peachtree City is a great site to spend a night or two; if you're interested in hydro structures, you can take a look at Strickland Lake

| | Dam. There's so much to do here at Strickland Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Pirkle Campground is a nice place for that. Looking for a great tour? Overmountain Victory National Historic Trail is quite right next door to Strickland Lake, and a quick trip to Rock Branch is undeniably a great idea. This lake is so wonderful. Golf can be played at Pine Ridge National Golf & Country Club; Wyndham Peachtree Conference Center is a glorious location | |

temperatures at Strickland Lake drop into the 30's. Much rainfall falls at Strickland Lake; the month with most of the rain is March, and the driest month is October. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Annewakee River, and North Steward Lake is a nearby lake that you could stop by.
