You'll need more than a day to look at everything Strange Lake has to offer, you can camp at Talisman Campark. There's always Strange Lake Dam to pop by close to Strange Lake, and don't leave Strange Lake without first going for a hike along the Mounds Trail. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Paper Lake, and you can go for a hike on the Scull Shoals Trail. Through       the summer at Strange Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 80's. Once the sun is down it descends down to the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 50's with winter lows in the 30's overnight here at Strange Lake. This is a good neighborhood for folks who like lakes. McGuery Lake is a lake in the neighborhood, and a great spot for whitewater paddling is Apalachee River. Strange Lake mostly gets a lot of precipitation; March is the month that                  gets the most rain while September is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. There's wonderful hiking along the Falling Camp Trail. What a spot this is for outdoors folks. There's so much to do here at Strange Lake that you need to camp here for a while, US Forestry Department is a pleasant spot for that; if you need a place to stay Travelodge Madison is a splendid choice. This lake is so wonderful. A quick spree to Horse Branch next to Strange Lake is a brilliant idea, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Madison is a brilliant site to spend a night or two.   Comfort Inn Madison, Madison 5 miles away Indoor heated pool, exercise room, meeting room to 50.
