You can take a little journey to Stokes Lake Dam since you're here at Stokes Lake. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Stokes Lake has to offer, you can camp at Salem Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Hard Labor Creek, unsurprisingly you could also take a look at Hays Pond       while you're here; it's not far at all. Through the warmest time of the year, highs ordinarily are in the 80's at Stokes Lake. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. During the winter highs are in the 50's, and during the dark hours in the winter at Stokes Lake temperatures drop to the 30's.
